PEWASH) Partnership for Expanded Water Supply and Hygiene program for Rural Communities ongoing at Yaradua Centre, Abuja
The Honourable Commissioner for Rural Development, Kogi State, Mr. Enema Paul was in attendance.
This program is strictly and mostly for rural areas. The benefiting Local Government Areas of benefiting states will contribute financially, through implementation and monitoring of the scheme. It would be a counterpart project.
Each state RUWASSA is mandated to supervise the implementation, monitoring and evaluation, if the aims and objectives of this project are to be met because the project must be successful and lastly, Rural Development Agencies will hold the project mandate of execution as a community development projects.
The vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was in attendance.
